Kindness Relay Race in the Russian Railway Museum

The Russian Railway Museum will take part in All-Russian Kindness Relay Race action dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

During the week, events dedicated to this action will be held in the Museum. Deaf visitors will have an opportunity to study exhibition by themselves using special tour with VR elements up to December 8. Visitors will be able to walk along the route with QR codes using their smartphones and watch video with sign language interpreter.

To access historical rooms deaf visitors should address an administrator after purchasing the entrance ticket.

On December 7 at 2 pm the Railway is our Second Home exhibition of photos by deaf artists organized in cooperation with St. Petersburg Theatre of Deaf and Art-Nevagrad artistic company of deaf art workers will be opened in the exhibition hall (1st floor) of the Museum. Exhibition will last till December 30. Exhibition visit is free with the Museum entrance ticket.

On December 7 at 4 pm everyone is invited to attend literary-musical and visual composition based on the novel by L. Tolstoy Anna Karenina. Visitors of the Museum will be able to see an abstract from the performance and parts of the concert performed by St. Petersburg Theatre of Deaf.

On December 7 and 8 from 12 pm to 4 pm every visitor will have an opportunity to study the Museum exhibition using VR glasses.

Thematic guided tour Sounds of Railways or Mysterious Music Box will be organized for blind visitors on December 6 from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm.
