We invite you to Shrovetide at the Russian Railway Museum!

Spring is a magical time of the year when nature awakens, the time of the celebration of Shrovetide and Easter. Therefore, the Spring was very much waited and welcomed as the most expensive guest.

So in our museum, Spring the Beauty decided to arrive at the appointed time by rail, but Winter does not want to give her in, got angry and swept over, mixed up all the ways. To help Spring, childrenwill go on an exciting journey through the museum in search of magical spring ways.

During the interactive tour participants will not only familiarize themselves with the exposition but also learn about some of the traditions of Shrovetide celebrations, guess riddles, take part in a workshop on making traditional seasonal Slavic puppet wards, play vintage spring games and dance around a stuffed Shrovetide puppet.

Program cost: 800 rub. Per person. (children).

The program includes:

- Thematic excursion-game program with theatrical elements;

- workshop on making thematic crafts;

- game program on the territory of the outdoor exhibition.

Adult companions: participation by the entrance ticket to the museum.

Schedule of the program: from March 6 to March 9, 2019

Sessions at 11am and 3 pm.

Duration: 120 minutes.

Maximum number of participants (children): 15 people.
