​Paintings as a gift to the Museum

On December 30, 2019 deaf artists from the Art-Nevagrad artistic company donated two paintings to the Russian Railway Museum collection: Silence! Shooting in Progress by Julia Kondratenko and Once in a Railway Car by Dmitry Mirilenko.

The ceremony of signing the act of paintings transferring took place on the final day of the Railway is our Second Home exhibition. The exhibition took place in the Russian Railway Museum from December 7 to 30 and was organized with the participation of the St. Petersburg Theatre of Deaf and Art-Nevagrad artistic company of deaf art workers. All participants of the exhibition were thanked and received small memorable souvenirs from the Russian Railway Museum.

More than 2,000 visitors attended the Railway is our Second Home exhibition. There were tours in sign language around the exhibition and the Museum for deaf visitors. Also one could see an abstract from the Anna Karenina performance featuring actors of the St. Petersburg Theatre of Deaf for two times.
