JSCo "RZD" Signed Cooperation Agreement with National Railway Museum (York)

On November 16, during the VII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, JSCo "RZD" signed cooperation agreement in cultural and scientific aspects with National Railway Museum (York). The document was signed by JSCo "RZD" State Secretary — Deputy Chief Executive Officer Аnatoliy Meshheryakov and by the Museum Director Judith McNicol.

The agreement covers co-work on temporary and permanent exhibitions, academic cooperation and execution of events aimed at promoting of culture, art and science. 

‘We shall organize working group that will discuss all aspects of cooperation in the near future. That will allow us to engage more substantively’ noted Mr. Meshheryakov. 

As part of the British delegation visit there was business meeting between JSCo "RZD" and the Science Museum Group (which includes the National Railway Museum in York) aimed at promotion of international cooperation in the field of museum activities.

During the meeting issues of museum exhibits and railway history multimedia exhibitions interchange, realization of joint multimedia projects and use of augmented reality technologies in exhibitions were discussed. 

National Railway Museum Director Ms. McNicol emphasized particular perspective of cooperation with JSCo "RZD" including that in vocational guidance of younger generation.
