The Russian Railway Museum has Added Rare Exhibit to is Collection

On July 30, 2019 the Russian Railway Museum has added to his collection a rare exhibit – industrial electric locomotive of B series No.12 built in 1932 by Saveliano, an Italian company, for Soviet Union.

A bulk of these locomotives arrived at the railroad of the Magnitogorsk Steel Mill – a gigantic enterprise of the first five-year plans era. B No.12 electric locomotive had been in operation for about 85 years.

The electric locomotive was contributed to the Russian railway Museum by the Magnitogorsk Steel Mill and will find its place of honour in the Museum exhibition t after the end of restoration works
