The Russian Railway Museum invites you to a Victory Day celebration on May 8th
Victory Day celebrations will be held at the Russian Railway Museum on May 8, 2025, from 11:00 to 17:30. Visitors will enjoy live music, reenactors, a field kitchen, and workshops for children.
Military reenactors with the exhibition "Communications and Equipment from the Great Patriotic War" will be located next to the Railway Crossing installation. A vigil in memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War will be held in the western wing of the museum. Near the layout of the sorting hill, everyone will be able to write a letter to SMO fighters.
From 16:00 to 17:30, live jazz will sound in the heart of the museum, near the split steam train. A photo zone will be open for visitors to take memorable printed photos. In the open-air exposition, you can refresh yourself with a field kitchen. Strength and dexterity tests will be held nearby – passing the TRP standards. An area with workshops and aquagrim will be organized for younger guests by the locomotive in the section.
"Victory Day is a sacred holiday for our entire country. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, we invite you to remember the feat of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. We have prepared a diverse celebration program – activities for children and adults are planned so that the holiday is truly family friendly. After all, only together we will preserve the memory of the feat and pass it on to the next generations," said Vladimir Odintsov, Director of the Russian Railway Museum.
