The Russian Railway Museum invites you to take part in the campaign dedicated to the AIDS Day
At the end of the month of events dedicated to AIDS Day, an educational event will be held at the Russian Railway Museum on December 8, 2025.
From 12:00 to 18:00, everyone will be able to take a free and anonymous rapid HIV test at a mobile point in front of the entrance to the Russian Railway Museum. All test participants will be able to visit the museum on this day for free. At 15:30 in the museum's conference hall, a medical psychologist at the St. Petersburg AIDS Center will talk about modern methods of HIV detection and prevention, the situation with the virus in the country, and life with the disease. The lecture is free, registration via a Timepad is required.
"We invite everyone to the fifth anniversary campaign for World AIDS Day. Railways were at the forefront of many socially significant processes, including the rapid provision of medical care and medical education. We continue this important tradition and invite everyone to join," says Vladimir Odintsovo, Director of the Museum of Russian Railways.
"We are pleased to hold this important event for the fifth time, combining education and culture. Knowing your HIV status is a way of taking care of yourself and your future. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity, because it's fast, free and anonymous," comments Tatiana Nikolaevna Vinogradova, Chief Physician of the St. Petersburg AIDS Center, PhD.
The partners of the campaign are the St. Petersburg State Medical University "Center for AIDS and Infectious Diseases" and the charity foundation "Diakonia". Detailed information about the promotion: https://www.hiv-spb.ru/
