June 17th – 19th, August 5th – 29th; September 1st – 10th the museum is closed. On June 13-16 and June 20-22, Block H is closed. On July 1 – August 14, the open–air exhibition is closed; on August 30 – 31, admission with 1520 "PRO" tickets//Movement.Expo"; September 11 – September 17, the open-air exposition is closed.

The entrance of visitors ends an hour before the museum closes, and the inspection of the exhibition ends 15 minutes before closing.

The Russian Railway Museum Participated in the VK Fest 2019 Festival for the First Time

The VK Fest 2019 festival had been organized in the Park of 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg on July 20 and 21.

Visitors of the Russian Railway Museum zone could participate in rail trolleys racing by moving Sapsan trains models at the special stand and by contesting un their speed. Winners got free tickets to the Museum.

Also in the Museum tent one could feel oneself as a electric locomotive driver with the VR simulator which simulated the locomotive cockpit in the virtual reality.

Everyone could make a photo in a 3D reality of the Museum complex interiors.

During the festival the Russian Railway Museum tent had been attended by more than 3,000 persons.
