The Russian Railway Museum opens the season of trips on an excursion train

Starting from May 1, 2026, you can view the exposition of the Russian Railway Museum in the open air on an excursion train. The trip is available for children from 3 years old, up to 12 years old – accompanied by an adult.

The train includes a steam train named Yefimka and two open trailers, with a total of 24 seats. The trip lasts 15 minutes.

Passengers will see the largest exhibits: the Molodets combat railway missile system, armored platforms, high-speed Sokol and ER200 trains. The audio guide will also tell you about new products: a replica of the BP-43 armored train and a carriage for international passenger transportation.

The train departs from the platform once an hour from 11:00 to 16:00. There are no trips on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or in the rain. The train stops at the exit of the glass passage between the buildings.

Ticket price: 200 rubles, it can be purchased in addition to the entrance ticket at the museum ticket office. Ticket sales stop 5 minutes before the start of the tour.
