/ 2

On February 20, 2025, a solemn ceremony of awarding the badges "Honorary Donor of Russia" and "Honorary Donor of St. Petersburg" took place at the Russian Railway Museum. The event was attended by Tatiana Zasukhina, Chief Physician of the St. Petersburg City Blood Transfusion Station, and Dmitry Golovkin, First Deputy Director of the Russian Railway Museum. 40 awards were presented.

To receive the award, the donors donated a total of 1,500 blood and its components, which is more than 750 liters. The ceremony of awarding Honorary donors was held at the Russian Railway Museum for the second time.

"Our museum joined the blood donation movement in 2022. We have organized donations at the museum's exposition three times and plan to continue this wonderful tradition. This season, we have introduced additional benefits for honorary donors – visiting the ice rink on the territory of the Russian Railway Museum has become free for them. Donating blood and its components is a noble step and a very significant act. This is a way for everyone, no matter who they work for, to become a real hero," said Vladimir Odintsov, director of the Russian Railway Museum.
