On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Russian Railway Museum hosted a celebration dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a rich program was presented.

All day long, a zone with reenactors worked at the Railroad Crossing installation, who talked about the means of communication used on the fronts and showed the uniforms, equipment and household items of the Red Army soldiers.

By the steam locomotive had live music performed by the cover duet LENYALIVEMUSIC. Adults and children made holiday cards at the workshops. The selfie mirror was working – all visitors could take printed photos as a keepsake.

Admission to the museum on this day was free for military personnel and cadets of military universities. In total, more than 3,400 people visited the museum that day.
