Modern Art in a Traditional Museum

In 2019 the Russian Railway Museum will participate for the first time in Modern Art in a Traditional Museum international festival. 

This is the oldest museum festival in St. Petersburg, existing since 2000. As part of the project, Russian and foreign artists get an opportunity to realize their projects in large and small museums of St. Petersburg

At the time, a competition has been announced to create art projects for participation in the festival. Details can be found on the link. Theme for 2019 festival is Analog Signals.

The competition is organized by PRO ARTE culture and art foundation with the participation of the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation. 

Festival will be held from September 28 to November 3, 2019 with the support of the Committee on Culture of St. Petersburg.
